Simple Living Centers

  • Simple Living Centers  (SLC) may be remodeled from a neighborhood worship center, a home or start in a small apartment  These are Education and health centers in each neighborhood.


  • In Simple Living Centers  - A  way to educate neighborhoods, help those in need, awake one anothers true potential and  use a  simple model of  leadership and a local microloan program to help the poor and hungry. 


  • Learn to choose a simple - higher way of life.

About Habitat for Health

Our Story-

  •  For a video presentation click  the January 2024 update.


  • In 1988 we were gifted trust funds from the Smith family. I was running operations at a community college and I was paid well so we did not need these fund for ourselves. 
  • In addition I felt these were not ours but to be used for helping others in the world. At that time I kept repeatedly seeing  in my mind two buildings next to each other. One on the west connected to one on the east. Unknown to me at the time, this would become a very accurate symbol of our work. 
  • We choose to call this an education as education means to bring froth from within. In addition, the pressure external learning imposed on students was not what we felt true education was about. 
  • About 10 years later we found a place to build this education center we called The Alta Vista Education Center, or a higher way toward the learning that happens within us - or the journey of life where we can come to discover our unique work on the earth. Alta Vista was a center where simple themes as agency education, the arts, listening within, emotional honesty in working together, and teachers and learners working together ---resulted in transforming lives  transforming communities to new levels.  
  • While this work has been unfolding for over 25 years, I feel the time to launch this work at another scale, intend a scale where entire communities can be transitioned is now here.
  •  I have felt to get out of the way and let this work move forward with those that likewise feel such a passion. I have met with a legal firm called Kirton and McConkie and been advise that visible international figures will be needed on the board with significant economic backing to launch this effort. 
  • Plans are to launch this work across the USA to 20% of the population as we believe that will bring us to a tipping point where the majority of the USA will adopt something so common sense as this. At that point this effort will generate its own funding to bless every nation and neighborhood home.  
  • In doing a full business plan, We are lookng for pledges of $14B with visible international leaders on the board to oversea this work .
